Daniel Figert is a licensed professional architect who has held a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certificate and is licensed in fourteen (14) states. With 40 years as a practicing architect, construction manager, and real estate developer. Daniel Figert offers expertise in a wide range of construction issues. These include: Architectural programming, zoning & code review and analysis, design, construction document preparation, office operations, errors & omissions, standard of care issues, construction defects, construction administration, construction budget estimating, project scheduling, field operations, workmanship & warranty, subcontractor relations, contractor performance, safety and insurance issues, forensic construction analysis, enclosure assembly, water and air intrusion analysis, peril caused damage analysis, construction remediation, and estimating remediation costs. Mr. Figert has experience with residential, commercial, industrial, governmental, and institutional facilities. Experience includes, but is not limited to residential, apartments, condominiums, retail, office towers, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, entertainment facilities, sports facilities, warehouses, factories, assembly plants, schools, colleges, universities, military bases, court houses, prisons, religious, hospitals, medical buildings and retirement centers. Prior to joining Synergen Mr. Figert held several executive positions with major architectural firms, design-build firms, and in a prominent private practice. Mr. Figert holds a Bachelor of Architecture with Magna Cum Laude honorary mention from the University of Illinois-Champagne/Urbana and has completed post-graduate executive studies in sales and marketing at Southern Methodist University. He is affiliated with several industry organizations including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and the Medical Group Management Association.
